Brief

Revitalise the Our Deal brand to connect more emotively to a broader audience, and bring to life its key competitive differences against global competition – an ethical approach to partnerships, exceptional local service and an ambition to seek out the new and different.

 

Solution

A brand identity that treads the line between celebrating the good times that Our Deal offers, and presenting a personal, trustworthy face – important in a category known in the past for its unscrupulous dealings. Following extensive research into the audience, category and internal culture, we discovered that Our Deal is a people-focused business, who bend over backwards for their customers and act with integrity in developing deals.

We built a brand strategy that engaged their employees and permitted a greater sense of fun and humanity in the way the brand acted, without losing touch with its heartland audience. A playful brand language sits at the heart of the identity, giving personality, context and heart to Our Deal’s communications. The colour palette strikes the balance between trust and energy.

Our Deal’s website refresh places greater focus on the people and members behind the brand, to build a more personal face to the digital business and community that it supports. A focus has been placed on communicating with transparency, placing phone numbers in obvious places for assistance, and summarised key details from the fine print being pulled forward to avoid any hidden surprises.
